Pedigree Recalls Dog Food Due to Metal Contamination
- StewartWood Injury Lawyers
Large bags of Pedigree Adult Complete Nutrition Grilled Steak & Vegetable Flavor Dry Dog Food sold by Walmart in four states (Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas) are being recalled due to the potential presence of loose metal pieces. The recall involves only 44-pound bags with a best-by date of March 4, 2025 and lot code 410B2TXT02. The potentially contaminated food was sold at 176 Walmart stores across these states. Consumers who purchased the affected dog food are advised to stop using it and contact Mars Petcare or to the Pedigree website for a return. This recall comes after similar incidents involving foreign objects in food products, such as the recent recall of raw pork chorizo potentially contaminated with plastic and metal, and H-E-B's ice cream recall due to metal fragments in cups.
