David W. Stewart focuses his practice exclusively on plaintiff’s personal injury and wrongful death litigation. From the firm’s Indianapolis Office, he assists clients throughout the greater Indianapolis metropolitan area, and all of Indiana. Mr. Stewart represents clients in major Truck and Car Wrecks, Defective Drugs and products, Construction site injuries, Medical Malpractice, and Nursing Homes.
In his over 30 year career, Mr. Stewart has presided over 90 jury trials and has successfully obtained numerous sizable awards, including significant settlements and verdicts in the multi-millions. Outside of the courtroom, he has negotiated settlements favorable to his clients. Some of the notable defendants that Mr. Stewart has gone up against are manufacturers of Reglan, Zantac, Trasydol, and Baycol and defendants Johnson and Johnson, General Motors, Walmart, Swift Trucking , Allstate, State Farm and Pfizer. He has also represented victims of transvaginal mesh complications and cases involving multiple hospitals and Rehab facilities.
Mr. Stewart attended Wabash College and pursued his legal education at Indiana University School of Law, recieving his Juris Doctor in 1989. Mr. Stewart is admitted to practice before all Indiana and Michigan state courts, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of Indiana and Supreme Court. An active participant in several professional legal organizations, he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Stewart has practiced as a real estate broker in Indiana.
