Thirty-five women have filed a lawsuit against Beverly Hills OB-GYN Dr. Barry Brock and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, accusing the doctor of sexual and medical misconduct spanning decades. The suit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, alleges that Dr. Brock made inappropriate comments, conducted unnecessary medical exams without gloves, and performed unconsented sutures after childbirth—actions the plaintiffs describe as "female genital mutilation."
Despite numerous complaints, Cedars-Sinai and other medical practices allegedly failed to take action, allowing Brock's misconduct to continue. Although Cedars-Sinai suspended his hospital privileges in 2023, the damage had already been done to many patients. Dr. Brock denies the accusations, claiming they are false and exaggerated.
The lawsuit seeks compensation for the significant emotional, psychological, and physical harm these women have suffered due to the alleged abuse and negligence.
